Property Real Estate Investor

Michael O’Sullivan is a Hampton property real estate investor who focuses on buying and selling houses in foreclosure. He began his career with only $7,500, purchasing the deed to his first property about 15 years ago. His company, Hampton Dream Properties LLC, is based in Remsenburg, within the Town of Southampton, and was founded in the aftermath of the 2008–2009 economic crisis and housing collapse. To gain the knowledge needed for success, he attended three seminars with a Harvard attorney and eventually purchased 25 deeds to foreclosed homes in East Hampton and Southampton, New York.
Starting as an outsider to the Hampton community, he worked tirelessly to grow his business. Over the years, he has completed more than 200 transactions, including over 30 settled foreclosures in East Hampton alone. Some of his clients became millionaires through working with him. By 2022–2023, his company had reached $6 million in revenue. Among his many achievements was a foreclosure settlement that allowed a client to resell a home for a net profit of $500,000. The client also secured a $700,000 line of credit against the property, allowing him to retain ownership while generating rental income from three units. In another instance, he stopped a foreclosure to help a friend’s father, who was mentally challenged, stay in his home for two years by personally paying the bank before reselling the property.
He works closely with skilled attorneys to settle foreclosures, including one lawyer who wrote the Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act (FAPA), which became law in December 2022. This law protects homeowners from unfair tactics by mortgage lenders, such as restarting foreclosures or resetting limitation periods through procedural loopholes.
He is currently developing the land he purchased several years ago in Mastic, New York, a location once known for its high crime rate but now undergoing government-supported revitalization. He owns multiple properties there, and national chains such as Taco Bell and Buffalo Wild Wings are negotiating to open restaurants on his sites.
Outside of real estate, he is passionate about music. He produced an album titled "Liquid Jazz" at Sonic Studio, secured a record contract with Mystic Music in New York, and was listed in the Washington, D.C. registry. The album has been played on every jazz college station in the United States.
A native New Yorker, he volunteered at ground zero after the September 11 attacks and supports the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which helps 9/11 first responders, veterans, and their families. He was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, where he served as an altar boy at Saint Rose Lima Church in Massapequa for five years. He is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, where he earned the Major Degree, demonstrating commitment to its principles of Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity. He attended Nassau Community College and briefly studied at New York University.
Michael O’Sullivan of Hampton continues to grow his business, invest in new developments, and remain active in his community while pursuing his passion for music and service.
